Portal Updates 5/19

There was a flurry of Portal movement (again) today as we are trudging through the off-season and schools are looking to fill voids or gaps in their rosters, add some depth and set themselves up for success in 2024. Here is a run down of the depth charts that were updated with news of commitments:

Ole Miss: RB Rashad Amos (15.0) <<< Miami (OH) (flipped from Colorado)
The Rebels continue to load up on backs to replace Quinshon Judkins and add depth behind Ulysses Bentley IV, who is figuring to lead the way. This is becoming more likely a committee approach with so many mouths to feed there now. Amos flipped his transfer commitment from Colorado to Ole Miss.

Washington: CB Cameron Broussard (12.7) < Sacramento St

Wyoming: P Jack Culbreath (12.7) < Virginia Military Institute (FCS)

Baylor: LB Rara Dillworth (11.3) < East Carolina via UNC

Michigan: CB Ricky Johnson (11.3) < UNLV
The Champs are going on a run to build up talent and depth in the secondary. They lost FS Rod Moore to a season-ending injury and while Johnson is a cornerback by trade, this is further evidence that they are not convinced they have the bodies in house quite yet to play at their expected National Championship caliber.

Michigan St: CB Jeremiah Hughes (11.0) < LSU

East Carolina: RB London Montgomery (10.2) < Penn State

Kent State: LB/DB Canaan Williams (7.2) < Bowling Green

Pittsburgh: S Josh McCarty (6.8) <<< Eastern Michigan

Virginia Tech: LB Kaleb Spencer (9.7) < Miami (FL)

Toledo: DL Anthony Dunn (8.1) < FAMU

Marshall: LB Monroe Beard III (7.2) < Tennessee State
